Taking the initial step to open up and initiate therapy can be quite difficult. If you’re here, you’ve already accomplished one of the toughest parts of your journey. Together, we can embark on a path to acquire valuable skills that will enrich your daily life. I approach each individual from where they currently are, offering a warm and accepting environment to explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. My goal is to help my clients strengthen their sense of self, ultimately reducing their suffering while increasing their joy and fulfillment. We’ll work together to identify and overcome any obstacles hindering your quality of life.
My experience extends to working with various age groups, including children, adolescents, young adults, and adults dealing with anxiety, autism, ADHD, sibling conflicts, low self-esteem, and poor social skills. Additionally, I support parents and families, helping them navigate and understand these challenges.
I earned my master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Adelphi University. In therapy sessions, I utilize a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and supportive therapy to assist clients in navigating challenging phases of their lives. For younger clients, I offer a toolkit of age-appropriate therapeutic strategies to help both children and their families achieve their goals.
I’ve always valued teamwork and see our therapeutic relationship as a partnership. Together, we will collaborate toward achieving your desired therapy goals following a practical and manageable plan. Throughout this process, I aim to provide patience, kindness, and insight so you never have to face these challenges alone. I’m here with you, eagerly anticipating our next steps together on this journey!
