What life challenges are you facing? Are you struggling with anxiety or depression? Maybe you’re wrestling with compulsive habits, a difficult relationship, or interpersonal interactions. Or, perhaps you want to improve some behavioral issues and develop healthier habits. I work with these issues and more. I am a trained Cognitive Behavioral Therapist and also utilize evidence-based therapy for treating individuals of all ages who have experienced trauma and physical, psychological, or sexual abuse. In addition to working with adults, I provide individual and group therapy to children and adolescents struggling with emotional and behavioral problems.
I hold a Master’s in Social Work from New York University, and a Masters in International Affairs from Columbia University. Among other positions, I have worked in a school-based mental health program, The Treatment Center for Trauma and Abuse and was Program Director for Violence Intervention Program, Inc.
From living abroad for several years, I have developed a strong cultural awareness and can offer sessions in Spanish and Portuguese. I look forward to discussing how I can help you with your difficulties.
