One of the greatest privileges of being a therapist is having the ability to help you become the best version of yourself. I believe everyone deserves a life filled with health, happiness, and fulfilling relationships. Therapy can help you navigate any challenges you may be facing in addition to gaining a better understanding of your emotions, stressors, relationships, and behaviors. I take pride in creating a safe and comfortable environment for my clients throughout the therapeutic process. It is my goal to build a connection based on empathy and understanding, in order to meet my clients needs and support them to achieve their goals.
I received my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Hofstra University. Throughout my career, I have had the pleasure of working with children and teens struggling with anxiety, OCD, ODD, self-esteem, self-harm, and parental divorce. I have assisted adults struggling with anxiety, depression, sexual addiction, parenting, and anger management. I have also provided therapeutic services to families struggling with life transitions and couples struggling with a range of relational issues from intimacy, to communication, and resolving conflict. My approach is client-centered, I feel meeting you where you are at is most important. I believe in collaborating with clients to find the approach that best meets their needs. Some of the modalities of treatment I draw from include but are not limited to CBT, EFT, Gottman, and motivational interviewing.
I am confident we can do great work together to improve any challenges you may be facing. I look forward to helping you access the tools you need to achieve your goals, so you can live a happier and healthier life.
