As a therapist, I am amazed by my client’s dedication to working hard to improve their lives despite challenging life circumstances and feelings of hopelessness. I feel honored to be part of your road to find healing. One of my aims is to truly understand what you are going through and get a good sense of what changes you are seeking. My goal is to work as a team with you to help you start feeling better rapidly, to meet your goals, and to help you feel safe and heard in the process. I primarily use a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach in my therapy, within an evidenced-based framework called TEAM-CBT, and I also draw from DBT skills and mindfulness to provide a variety of coping skills.
I enjoy working with individuals from all backgrounds with any struggle they are facing from anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma work and more. Some of my previous experience includes working with adults struggling with addiction as well as helping school-aged children navigate social and emotional challenges. I help clients achieve more satisfaction in life by showing them how to increase self-confidence and connection with others. Licensed in New York (LMSW), I hold a Master’s Degree in Social Work from New York University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with a minor in Human Development, from the University of Maryland. Please contact me if you would like a complimentary phone consultation to discuss your treatment goals.
I look forward to working with you!
